If you are one of those people who do not like the shortcuts like Desktop, Documents, Images, Videos, 3D Objects or Music in your Windows Explorer, then you can remove them quite easily with the commandline or registry editor.
Removing Windows Explorer Shortcuts
By running the following commands in your terminal as administrator, you are able to remove these shortcuts for 32-Bit and 64-Bit Windows installations.
After running these commands you might need to reopen your Windows Explorer or even have to reboot your System to see the changes.
